Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a stabbing in Islington.

At around 23:10hrs on Friday, 21 June, a 17-year-old male was stabbed in the street on Goswell Road, EC1.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended. The victim was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition. His family have been informed.

Detectives from Central North CID are investigating.

No arrests have been made at this early stage. Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances.
