After a video of London Cypriot Jacob Mitchell rapping Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo to his daughter Ellie recently went viral, the dad of two quickly became an internet sensation.

The video received over 5 million views and caught the attention of TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who invited Jacob and his family to fly to LA to appear on her show. The rapping dad displayed more of his skills via an unforgettable rendition of the classic Dr. Seuss story Green Eggs and Ham.

What’s more, the family enjoyed a trip to Universal Studios and received $10,000! As a primary school teacher in the UK, Jacob started rapping to his students to help them retain information in a more entertaining way, and he decided to bring the tactics home for his daughters. Under the alias MC Grammar, Jacob absolutely knows how to brighten up bedtime stories.

But he’s not stopping there – Jacob joined Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in the This Morning studio on Monday to discuss his recent UK school tour, his hopes for an album in the future and revealed he will be touring Bermuda and Cyprus!
