Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have confirmed Cyprus as a key year-round holiday destination.
The largest summer and winter programmes to the island were confirmed in meetings with hoteliers and representatives from the Cypriot tourism industry.
This summer’s capacity is up 16% year-on-year to almost 550,000 seats to Paphos and Larnaca with 56 peak time flights a week between the UK and the island.
Capacity for winter 2019-20 is up by more than 45% with 200,000 seats on sale.
CEO Steve Heapy pledged to continue working with hotel partners and the tourist board to showcase the appeal of Cyprus as both a summer and winter destination.

He said: “In today’s environment, more and more people are recognising the benefits of a package holiday, which means that our philosophy of putting the customer first stands us in great stead to capitalise on this demand.
“By working in partnership with hoteliers and the industry here in Cyprus, we are able to continue our growth strategy and we are very much looking forward to more success in the future.

“Cyprus is an absolutely critical destination, so we will keep working with the industry to attract holidaymakers in the summer and winter, filling Cypriot hotels all-year round with customers on a package holiday they can trust.”
The British low cost airline operates scheduled and chartered services. It is the third-largest scheduled airline in the UK.
