Afterlast week’s defeat las in the lfa Challenge Cup final Olympia came out firing on all cylinders.
A great start and fantastic goal from Yemmy put them one nil up after some great team play.

Olympia missed few chances to score again but the Apoel goal
keeper was in unstoppable form .
Just after the half time break Olympia scored again with a great finish from Yemmy again 2 0.
Olympia then took control and Elia made it 3 0.
Apoel scored from the penalty spot with Demetris Frangeskides and game finished 3-1.

Division Two Cup
KLN 2 Cinar 5
The sunny weather brought the crowd out and were entertained with 7 goals. Cinar took the lead with Yannick Kamanan running on and shooting past the Kln keeper for 1-0. The lead lasted 10 minutes as Kln pulled one back Max Papacosta. Salih Karakis wing play pulled off a great finish to make it Cinar 2-1. Cinar momentum carried on when Zaine Martin put in a great cross for Yannick to powerfully head a goal for 3-1. Kln scored right at the end of the first half through Chris Papacosta.
The second half saw Kln come at Cinar as tiring legs and injury affected Cinar. Nevertheless Cinar were catching Kln on the counter attack as capitalised off rebound off the keeper to make it 4-2. Kln were awarded a penalty but Nej Hussein pulled off a great save to deny Max Papacosta. With the match coming to a close Yannick went on once again to beat the Kln keeper for 5-2 and score his fourth sending Cinar to the Division 2 Cup final against Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos 3 – 0 Akanthou

Panathinaikos move a step closer to the league and cup double. Akanthou put on a good display and were set up to stop the green machine but after 10minutes played Pao won a corner, Anthony constantinou crossed the ball in which met the head of his brother Kieran Constantinou who directed it into the far post. 1-0 Pao.
Akanthou had a chance with a long ball to Theo who couldnt beat Antony the keeper from close range. Theo had another chance but the pao defence held strong and pao quickly broke to produce a fine save from the Akanthou keeper who.was in good form and making plenty of saves keeping his side in the game.
The game went advantage Poa just before half time when Akanthou had a player sent off.

Start of the second Pao tried to make the extra man count but Akanthou were very well organised and refused to be broke down until the 70th minute when Andrew Yasoumi crossed the ball to Dylan for him to head the ball in. 2-0.
Akanthou looked tired after playing with 10 and on such a hot day. Pao were moving the ball about using the extra player well then came the goal the day from Andrew Yasoumi, picking the ball out on the right just out side the box he cuts in and unleashing a curling shot with his left boot to hit the top corner.
