Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are engaged! The duo made it official over the weekend while holidaying in the Bahamas.

Former New York Yankee Alex popped the question on Saturday, and according to his Instagram, “she said yes.” They both posted the same photo of her hand in his, with a massive diamond sparkler at the centre of attention.

The happy couple are constantly declaring their love for each other on social media and in public. On their two-year anniversary, J-Lo posted a sweet tribute to her man on Instagram. It said, “You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place… in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life…you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again…”

A-Rod offered up just as much of a loving account on his profile: “I can’t believe it’s been two years. Only 730 days, which have flown by, but it feels like we have been together forever. We are meant to be, and how much you mean to me cannot be put into words,” he wrote.

“From baseball games, to traveling across the world to shows in Vegas. We have done it all together and every moment with you is cherished. Where this road will take us next is unknown but there is no one else I would rather have by my side. The journey is just beginning and I am excited for what’s ahead.”

 This will be Jennifer’s fourth marriage. The singer was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998 and then to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. She later married Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Emme and Max.

Alex was formerly married to Cynthia Scurtis. They divorced in 2008. They share two children, Natasha and Ella.
