Detectives investigating an assault on the Central Line platforms at Tottenham Court Road in London, have interviewed a man in connection.

The assault happened at approximately 11.30pm on 15 March, a man sustained a facial injury following a fight and coming into impact with a moving train. He remains in hospital receiving treatment.

Following an earlier appeal, a 44-year-old man from Romford contacted BTP and was interviewed in relation to this incident. He has since been released under police investigation and is helping officers with their enquiries.
