An entertaining game between UK Cypriot KOPA League team Panathinaikos and Swedish Cypriot team Cyprus FC,who is managed and was founded by Savva Andreas Christofi who is from Famagusta and immigrated to Sweden after the 1974 troubles. He is also the President of the small Swedish Cypriot Community there.

Panathinaikos gave them a big welcome and both teams played nice exciting football with the game ending 8-3 to the UK team.

The night before New Salamis in London welcomed the Swedish club to their clubhouse and treated them to their special meze. Also there was Varnavas Christofi the New Salamis and Cyprus international  goal keeper who is the brother of Savvas the manager of the Swedish Cypriot team.
