U16’s Gold team league game result. Brady Maccabi FC Red Team 2 – 4 AEK Youth FC Gold team. Back to a league fixture against a team that they previously lost 8-2 early in the season. Once again with injuries and study leave they only had 11 players available on the day. They started very slowly again and were immediately bombarded with waves of attacks on their goal which they unbelievely survived with some excellent goalkeeping and poor finishing on their part. The opposition did manage to score eventually but AEK rallied to find an equaliser before the break, completely against the run of play.

After a non- cup throwing hair dryer talk at half time coupled with a few tweaks to player positions, they started very brightly and managed to dominate the game play and score two quick goals in succession. The opposing team managed to score a break away goal but AEK increased the lead again with a nicely worked team goal shortly before the end. Scorers: Alexander Barbe (2); Jordan Conway (2).
