Disregarding the wet and windy conditions, AEK showed good quality and a great attitude throughout the matches, moving the ball well with purpose and playing with real desire and commitment.
Even going 1-0 down, they stayed positive and were rewarded via a great equaliser from Lucca who beat two men before hitting a sweet strike beyond the keeper.

AEK took the game to the opposition in the second half but found themselves behind owing to some poor decision-making at the back.
Nevertheless, with Marcus pulling the strings in midfield showing and good movement ahead of him, AEK equalised through Lucca’s second of the match. AEK pushed on and were unlucky not to go ahead with Sammi’s great effort hitting the post, but all in all, a fair result in what was a great game on difficult conditions.
