The world fell in love with Rami Malek and Queen all over again when biopic Bohemian Rhapsody came out in cinemas last year. Malek, who played the effervescent, larger-than-life band leader, Freddie Mercury, captured hearts with his striking resemblance to the late singer and won multiple awards for his spot-on portrayal of Mercury in the process.

Now, there appear to be talks of a possible sequel. In an interview with Page Six, Rudi Dolezal, director of multiple Queen music videos, says that the band’s manager, Jim Beach, would be interested in a follow-up to the film.

“I’m sure he plans a sequel that starts with Live Aid,” said Dolezal, adding that a second film is currently “being heavily discussed in the Queen family.”

Brian May, Queen’s legendary guitarist, previously expressed the possibility that there could be more to come of the band’s story. In an interview he did last November about the original film,
