Passed away on Monday28 January 2019 at the age of 82 Matheo Kyriakou from Tymbou, father of Maria owner of AROMA patisserie in Palmers Green.

Matheos came to England in 1957, he worked very hard in various companies, he thenstarted his own business, a fish and chips restaurant in Barking, then he moved to Southampton until his retirement.

October 1960 he married Anna from Pyrgos Tyllirias, they had 3 children, Maria, Gianni and Kyriako.

The deceased was very well respected by everyone who knew him. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and very supportive to his family, always there when needed. He Helped Andro and Maria financially to start their own business.

After his retirement the deceased was always present at Aroma, ready to welcome everybody and have a chat.

He is survived by his wife Anna, daughter Maria, sons Gianni and Kyriako,  6 grandchildren Angela, Anna,  Matheo, Theodosi, Sofia, and Simein, 4 great grandchildren, Jason, Sofia, Olivia and Thomas, his brother Michalis and sister Chrystalla both in Cyprus

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 13.02.2019 at 1.00pm at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Mary Trinity Road, Wood Green, London N22 8LB, Wood Green and the burial at the New Southgate Cemetery.

The family will receive Condolences at the cemetery.

Instead of flowers there will be a donation box, all proceeds of which will go towards St. Mary’s Church and other charities.

The wake will take place at Babinondas Restaurant, 598 Green Lanes, London N13 5RY.
