UK Cypriot Michael Georgiou is going well in the Welsh Open snooker championship he beat David Lilley in the first round 4-0 and neat Jimmy White 4-1 to go through to the second round.

He will be playing Barry Hawkins in the 3rd round today 14th July 2019.

Michael Georgiou played snooker from a young age he is born in London his parents are from Gerani in Cyprus.
