Two UK Greeks Klaidi Lolos and Themis Kefalas called up for Greece U19’s.

KLAIDI Lolos has been called up for a two-day Greece Under-19 training camp in Athens, which is specifically for players born in 2000.

The youngster, who was born in Athens, joined Argyle after being invited on trial by Academy Director Kevin Hodges and was first scouted when playing against the Pilgrims for Birmingham City

This camp is to prepare for the UEFA Under-19 Elite Round in March. He has impressed this season, scoring six times in 15 appearances in the EFL Youth Alliance league and has flirted with the first-team, having been on the bench for the final game of last season at Gillingham.

He also appeared on the bench for our last Checkatrade Trophy group game at Newport County.
QPR Under-23s defender Themis Kefalas has also been called-up by Greece’s Under-19 side.

The R’s youngster has been asked to link up with Greece for a training camp this week ahead of their UEFA U19 Elite Round in March.

The centre-back signed a professional deal for Paul Hall’s Under-23 side in September last year having spent two seasons with Haringey Borough.

The UEFA Under-19 Group 2 contains Czech Republic, Denmark and England. This is the first time that Klaidi has been invited into the Hellenic Under-19 National Team
