Officers are appealing for more information following a report of racial abuse on board a train between Paddington and Swindon.

The incident happened on the 7.03pm Paddington to Exeter service on Sunday 2 December 2018.

A group of football fans, believed to be Arsenal supporters, are reported to have made racist comments to members of the public.

They are also reported to have become verbally abusive.

The group are described as all men, mostly aged in their 40s with a small number aged between 25 and 30-years-old.

Most were wearing Arsenal kit and scarves, according to eyewitness accounts.
