Cypriot league leaders Apoel beat Doxa Katokopias 2-1 to cement their position at the top. Their goals came from Zahid and Natel in the 60th and 78th minutes Doxa scored in the 82nd Minute with Pavlov.
Andrea Makri scored with a shot from outside the box in the 55th minute that gave AEL a vital win over Pafos.

Anorthosis were held to a goalless draw by Alki Oroklini.

In Sunday’s fixtures Omonia won at home 1-0 against AEK with a 70th minute goal from Katelaris.
5th placed revitalised New Salamis lost at home to third place Apollon 3-0 whose goals came from Maglika in the 5th and 19th minute and Papoulis scoring in the 89th minute.

In Monday’s only fixture Ermis Aradippou drew 1-1 in their game versus Paralimni.
