The Central Committee of AKEL in its session today adopted the Party’s candidates for the European elections in May.
The candidates of AKEL-Left-New Forces are in alphabetical order the following:
• Georgiou K. Georgiou
AKEL-Left-New Forces Member of Parliament, Famagusta District, Greek language teacher, 55 years old
• Georgiou, Chrysanthos (Athos)
Doctor-Surgeon, President of the National Addictions Authority, 48 years old
• Kızılyürek Niyazi
Professor, Department of Turkish Studies at the University of Cyprus, 59 years old
• Koukoumas Georgios
Lawyer, Assistant to Member of the European Parliament, 35 years old
• Nicolaou Maria
Political Scientist, Member of the Secretariat of the Group of the European United Left-Nordic Green Left, 32 years old.
• Sylikiotis Neoklis
Member of the European Parliament, Mechanical Engineer, 59 years old
The official presentation of the AKEL-Left-New Forces candidates will take place on Saturday, 26th January 26 at 10:00 am. at Hilton Park.
