Three fire engines and one fire rescue unit and around 20 firefighters were called to a burst water main at Euston train station.

A six inch water main burst flooding the first floor level to a depth of six inches. Seven platforms were affected by water running off from the first floor. Thankfully, rail staff isolated the water supply and fire crews diverted the water flow to drainage before any disruption to rail services.

The Brigade was called at 0648 and the incident was over by 0745. Fire crews from Euston and Soho fire stations were at the scene.
