First Division

Apoel were in top goalscoring form when they beat Achna FC 6 -1 but up to half time Achna were still in the game at 2-1 but just fell apart.
Apiels goals came from 5th min Marcos Kyprianou-,19th min Vincent Lwanga
63rd min Anastasis Manoli, 67th min Alex Violaris 82nd min Alex Violaris
And 84th Darcy Kelly. Achna goal came from Mick Theocharous.

Komi and Omonia provided a classic game of football played in a competitive and sporting spirit with Omonia winning 4-3
Komi took the lead  on 15 minutes – Omonia responded well creating many opportunities one produced an unbelievable save from the Komi keeper from Omonia striker Andreas Kyprianou At the interval Komi led 1-0.
The 2nd half was full if good football and great finishes. Omonia equalised 5 minutes into the 2nd period after an Andreas Kyprianou effort was saved by the Komi keeper but Harry Philippou followed up to net the rebound . 5 minutes later great work by Antonio Michael whose pass put Luke Prokopiou through on hall who finished in his usual fashion for Omonia to take a 2-1 lead 15 minutes later Antonio Michael provided a cross ,after a run on the right side, which Andreas Kyprianou finished from close range. On 78 minutes Komi came back into the game with a goal direct from a free kick on the right side of the penalty area 4 minutes later Komi equalised taking advantage of a mistake .
However Omonia showed their fighting qualities and when sub Kyri went on a mazy run which resulted in him being fouled from the free kick on the left Andreas Kyprianou’s right foot educated the ball into bottom left hand corner of the Komi keepers goal . This proved bto be the winner .

Komi Kebir’s goals came from Anthony Georgiou 2 and George Demosthenous.

Second Division

Armenians got back to winning ways on Sunday by beating Pantel 3-0 with their goals coming from Andy Michael, Arek Djerrahian and Alen Duvarciyan. Armenians remain in second place six points behind the leaders KLN but have a game in hand. Pantel drop to fifth place.

Another second division crunch match with two teams in form had the media unable to choose a winner.
It wasnt unti the 12th minute when Andy dribbled into the box and was brought down to give a penalty to Pao, Andy stepped up and slotted the penalty home.
Another fine move from Pao found zack free on the right to playing In a low cross which the keeper spilled and allowed Dylan to tap in the mistake. 0-2
It was a stop start game with a lot of fouls because the pitch was very slippery and this led to an amazing free kick by Zack, pin point acourousy into the top corner. 0-3 to Panathinaikos.

Akanthou never dropped their heads and a long ball played from the right back to left mid that found Theo who beat the Pao centre back and shot early top beat the on coming keeper. 1-3.
Just before the half Dylan took a free kick from the left, crossing the ball in everybody missed it including the keeper 1-4.

Akanthou started with a fresher head second half creating more and more opportunities and moving the ball well. It wasnt until the 60min when a ball played forward to Theo Shoukri was mistimed by the PAO goalkeeper allowing the Akanthou forward to work the opportunity for 4-2.

A marvellous first half display of passing football by Cinar in beating Brotherhood 3-1 taking the lead by smart finish by the ever reliable Cullen French running towards goal and hitting a low shot for 0-1. Shortly later Matthew Mitchell made it two from a cross, glancing hit shot over the keeper for 0-2. The second half was a tighter affair when Chris spyrou pulled one back with a great effort from 20 yards. Brotherhood keeper was in great form keeping the score respectable and even saving a Cinar penalty by Cullen French. Cinar deservedly scored the third when full back Erkan Ozerek neatly finishing for 1-3. Cinar finished the year on a high with 2 good wins over KLN and Brotherhood .
