The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a thunderstorm warning on an orange awareness level, valid from 1600 this afternoon until tomorrow morning at 1100.

It is said that heavy thunderstorms, probably accompanied by hail, will affect the area of Cyprus. Locally, the accumulated precipation may exceed 70 millimeters in six hours period.
