Love them or hate them, the Spice Girls revolutionised the pop music scene with their catchy pop tracks and “girl power” ethos in the 90s. And now they’re back to spice up your life a little more! A decade since their last tour and after months of teasing fans of a possible reunion, the ladies have officially announced their new comeback tour for the summer of 2019. However, missing out on the fun and frolics this time around is Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice, who won’t be joining Mel B, Geri, Emma and Mel C on their upcoming stadium dates around the UK.

The now successful fashion designer took a moment to wish her former bandmates the best via social media: “Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012! I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.”

The fashionista added: “I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb.”

The remaining foursome will kick off the tour at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on 1st June 2019, before heading to Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh and finishing at London’s Wembley Stadium. Jess Glynn will be providing the supporting slot for the tour.

In case you you need reminding, their debut song “Wannabe” was a huge global hit, topping the charts in 37 countries, while their first album “Spice” sold more than 23 million copies worldwide becoming the best selling album of all time by a female group.

They released three albums and 13 singles at their peak – with 9 of those going to number one in the U.K.

Tickets for all dates of the Spice Girls tour go on sale Saturday 10th November at 10.30 (GMT) from Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours.

New Music!

After a busy few months with a schedule brimming with performances, Greek singing star Peggy Zina prepares us for cosy nights in, hiding from the winter chill with a beautiful ballad entitled simply “Ela”.

One of the most popular female vocalists of modern laika, Zina has enjoyed continued success in her career most recently with the releases “Mi M’ Akoumpas”, “O Hronos”, “Apagorevo” and “Mou Leipeis”. This is another to add to the hit list!

That’s all for now. Until next time… x Mwah
