New Salamis FC 2 – 0 Bedmond FC

Salamina reach their first quarter final of the season following a 2-0 win over fellow Herts County side Bedmond FC.

This was a very competitive match in where Harrison Georgiou missed a first half penalty in the 18th minute to put Salamina ahead. Salamina has a number of chances there couldn’t finish, and Salamina goalkeeper Bobby Smith made a fantastic double save to keep the score at 0-0.

Salamina went ahead from a low drive from Chris Arthur in the 44th Minute to make it 1-0 at half time.
The second half saw Salamina press and press but they couldn’t find a breakthrough, the ever reliable Richard Georgiou was on hand to make it 2-0 in the 73rd minute.
Salamina saw out the final stages of the game to advance into the Quarter Final of the Anagram Trophy.
They will play PFC Victoria on the 23rd of February Away.
