Larnaca Police today Tuesday were investigating the find of a bag of grenades by a local farmer near AEK stadium in Larnaca.

The bomb squad were called to the site and destroyed the hand grenades

Police on Tuesday said the area was cordoned off and  their bomb squad was called to destroy the two hand grenades found in the afternoon in a bag near the Aek FC stadium in Larnaca.

AEK have  no home match for two weeks as their play away to Ludogrets on Thursday and Alki Oroklini on saturday.
