Cyprus and other EU member-states withdrew from the EU Interparliamentary Assembly for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), protesting over the participation of the Kossovo parliamentary mission in violation of the rules of procedure, House of Representatives said in a statement.

In protest to the fact that the host country, Austria, in violation to the conference’s rules of procedure, invited a parliamentary mission of Kossovo, an entity not recognized by the Republic of Cyprus and other EU member-states withdrew from the conference, the Cypriot parliament said in a statement.

The Conference’s deliberation began today in Vienna.
