Cobalt regrets to announce that it will be cancelling all Flights as of 23:50pm on October 17, 2018 due to indefinite suspension of Cobalt’s operations. As a result, future flights or services provided by Cobalt will be cancelled and will no longer operate.

Passengers who have un-flown tickets are instructed not to go to Larnaca Airport or any departure airport tomorrow, 18 October 2018 as no Cobalt flights will operate and no Cobalt staff will be present.

For refunds, please contact your credit card provider or Travel Agent.

We sincerely apologise once again and would like to thank our very loyal customers for their support over the last two years of Cobalt operations.

Cobaltair Ltd informed the Ministry at 21.00 local time (18.00 GMT) that it suspends all its flights as of 00.30 Thursday morning, the press release notes.

The Minister has called a meeting in the presence of representatives from the Civil Aviation Department, the General Accounting office, Hermes and other competent authorities in a bid to organize, in the best possible way, the repatriation of those passengers who are stranded as a result of the airline’s decision to suspend operations.

Passengers travelling on the night flight of 17th October and on flights on 18thOctober 2018, which are not operating, are kindly requested to buy a one way ticket in economy class to return home and keep the proof of payment in order to claim compensation.

The remaining passengers, who were to have travelled on Cobaltair Ltd in the next seven days will be notified in due time about their repatriation.
