Jane Hall Lute, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Cyprus, will be visiting London on Wednesday, according to CNA sources.

She will be received by the UK Minister for Europe Sir Alan Duncan, who has been handling the British involvement in the Cyprus issue settlement process.

The UN official has been holding meetings with all involved parties to determine the possibility of resuming settlement talks.

The UK Government, including Sir Alan, have repeatedly stated their support for the resumption of negotiations as soon as possible.

The time of the meeting has not been disclosed.
