Police have confirmed that they are investigating an attempted burglary at the Fish and Chip shop Fishy Delishy in Cranborne Parade, Mutton Lane today.

A police spokeswoman said: “It is believed that a silver Ford vehicle drove into the front window of the shop before driving off in the direction of South Mimms.

“The vehicle is believed to have returned around eight minutes later, driving around the premises before driving away again.

“It does not appear that entry was gained and no items appear to have been taken.”

Anyone who saw the incident or suspicious activity or has other information, should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/25401/18.
