Detective Inspector Paul Ridley from North Area CID is appealing for assistance from the public. He said: “We urgently need to locate Iris. She walked out of the hospital in a vulnerable condition and there have been no sightings since. Her family and friends are understandably extremely worried and have been searching the streets in addition to our officers.
The weather conditions are very warm therefore increasing the risk, as she urgently needs fluids and medication. I would urge members of the public to be vigilant and call us immediately with any sightings, she is known to use public transport.”
Officers are increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000 quoting reference: 18MIS031756.
