After a meeting this week the KOPA League committee decided there will again be two divisions this season 2018/19. Seven teams in the first division and seven in the second division . In the first division due to New Salamis withdrawing and Livadia folding they decided to promote the team that finished 3rd in the second division, Achna FC.
In the second division they will include three new teams that have recently applied Cinar Spor, Armenian Youth Association and FC Akanthou.
So the two divisions will consist of
KOPA League Division 1 Teams
Achna Anorthosis, Apoel, Asha, Komi Kebir, Olympia and Omonia,
KOPA League Division 2 Teams
Armenian Youth Association (AYA), Brotherhood, Cinar Spor, FC Akanthou
KLN, Panathinaikos and Pantel,
The season will start on the 02nd September 2018 with a five a side competition to be held at the new astro 5-aside pitches at Trent Park next to the golf course. Then the following week September the 9th the league season will begin.
