Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at industrial units on East Lane Business Park in Wembley this morning.

Part of a timber-beamed roof of two single units were damaged by fire.

Station Manager Steve Chesson was at the scene, he said: “Crews worked hard to contain the fire and succeeded in stopping it spread to adjacent properties.”

The Brigade was called 0739 and the fire was under control by 0920. Fire crews from Wembley, Northolt, Park Royal, Willesden fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
