Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an aggravated burglary and assault at a residential address in Clydach Road, Enfield EN1.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the suspects behaving suspiciously in the area either before or after the offence was committed.

Between 23:20hrs and 23:40hrs on Sunday, 10 June, a group of men entered the address.

The suspects went to the bedrooms of the victims who were a husband and wife aged 60 and 55 and their 21-year-old son.

All of the victims were woken up, assaulted and threatened with knives as the suspects demanded to know where valuables were kept.

Cash, jewellery and electrical items were stolen before the males left the property. The victims were then able to alert police.

The victims received medical attention but did not require hospitalisation.

Five men in total are believed to have been involved.

Suspect 1 – was described as the most vocal and brandishing a crowbar – he was beleived to be a black male of muscular build, around 6ft tall, wearing all dark clothing with Armani or similar written down one arm of his top. He spoke with a cockney accent and was wearing tights pulled over his face with holes cut out for the eyes.

Suspect 2 – was believed to be a black male, around 5ft 10in, wearing a balaclava and all dark clothing.

Suspect 3 – was wearing a grey parka jacket with hood up and the top part of the jacket pulled over bottom of his face.

The two other males were completely covered with balaclavas and dark clothing.
