AKEL general secretary Andros Kyprianou was taken ill at the House of Representatives on Sunday and taken to hospital. He was accompanied by AKEL MP Adamos Adamou, who is a doctor.

Doctors decided that Kyprianou should undergo certain tests. Reports said that his condition does not give grounds for concern.
