UK Cypriot Magda Pittas celebrated her 100th birthday last week with a party at her home where she has lived since 1956. Present were her close family,relatives, friends and Archbishop Gregorios.

Magda also recieved a birthday card from the Queen.

Magda came to the UK from Larnaca and married Theodosi Pittas from Dali in Cyprus who sadly died several years ago.

Her husband Theodosis was well known in the community as the founder and owner of Pittas Pastries who were a large company producing cakes for the major shops, supermarkets and restaurants.

Parikiaki Newspaper wishes her happy birthday and many happy returns.
