Creighton men’s tennis head coach Tom Lilly announced the signing of Cyprus native Nicholas Campbell for the 2018-19 season

“I’m very excited to add Nick to our roster for next year,” Lilly said. “He is a fantastic player and a great student as well. I believe he will start immediately for us in singles and doubles, and has the potential to be a tremendous player for us the next four years.”

The 2017 winner of the Cyprus National Junior Championship, Campbell is currently in his second year as a member of the Cyprus Davis Cup team. He also finished runner-up at the Cyprus National Men’s Championship in 2017. Campbell concluded his junior career ranked as the No. 3 player in Cyprus and ranked as high as No. 451 in the ITF junior rankings. He claimed a spot on the U-18, U-16, U-14 and U-12 Junior National teams.

Campbell’s Universal Tennis Rating is listed as 12.57.

The Bluejays conclude the regular-season of their 2018 spring schedule on  April 22 at home against Doane.
