Panayiotis Argyrou sadly passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 24th April  2018, at the age of 29. He leaves behind his father Argyros, his mother Georgina, brother Antonaki and sister Maria.

Panayiotis was born in London on 6th March 1989, the second oldest of three siblings.

His father and mother were born in the UK; his paternal grandparents are from Avgorou and Eftakomi and his maternal grandparents from Morphou.

Panayiotis grew up in Kingsbury. He attended Our Lady of Grace primary school in Neasden and then St Gregory’s Secondary School in Kenton before going on to study Business Studies at Middlesex University.

Panayiotis was very well known in the UK community. He was a member of the St Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church in Harrow and was very active in organising many trips in the UK and abroad for the Church community. He also was Chair of the graduates organisation of the Church.

Panayiotis was a founder member, treasurer and sponsor of St Panteleimon FC who play in the Middlesex County Football League.

He had a very active business life and was proprietor of the well known restaurant in the community, Panorama in Whetstone, and was a partner in the Orama Restaurant in Hatch End.

He helped bring renowned Greek singers to perform in the UK and he was instrumental in bringing the famous Greek American comedian Basile to our shores.

You will be missed by our community who are thankful for all that you have done in such a short time you were with us. Your legacy will live on forever. May you RIP.
