A new magazine with the familiar name “Welcome“ will be in stands at the airports of Larnaka and Paphos in Cyprus next May. The new edition for tourists and locals will be bilingual and it aspires to become a reference point for the island and its people, its services and attractions, gastronomy and cultural treasures.

The magazine will be published once a month, in Greek and English, by Greek publishing company Dragounis. On Tuesday, Hermes Airports the company that controls Larnaka and Paphos International Airports and Dragounis Publications presented the new magazine at an event that took place in Nicosia.

Maria Kouroupi, Marketing Director of the company, said that the new magazine will add value to the tourist product of Cyprus and will be a reference point for local and foreign visitors.

Yiannis Dragounis, of the Dragounis Publishing Compony, said that the title of the magazine is recognizable and easy and is connected with the hospitality of the Cypriots. It will be a value-for-money, luxury edition that will become a reference guide for Cyprus highlights but also hidden places and will invite readers to get familiar of the services and products of the island.

Danae Makri, the editor-in-chief of the magazine, said the publication will contain rich photographic material and appealing articles that will attract readers to get to know Cyprus and its people through the eyes of the locals.
