A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found dead in Waltham Forest.

A report was made to a police front counter in north London at about 06:45hrs on Thursday, 15 February about an unresponsive man at an address in Warren Road, E4.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a 48-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at 07:18hrs.

His next-of-kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination and formal identification will take place in due course.

A 38-year-old woman [A] was arrested on suspicion of murder on the afternoon of Thursday, 15 February. She was taken to a north London police station where she remains in custody.

A 63-year-old man [B] was arrested on suspicion of murder in the early hours of Friday, 16 February. He is currently in an east London hospital in relation to a medical matter.

Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
