A police spokesman said: “Police are investigating a burglary that took place in Auckland Road, Potters Bar, on Monday, January 8 between 2.45pm and 5.55pm.”
Burglars are thought to have climbed on to a flat roof at the rear of the house before forcing open a bedroom window.
They then ransacked the upstairs bedrooms.
Three watches and foreign currency was stolen.
One watch had a brown strap, white face, and black numbers.
Another had a gold strap and gold face.
The third had a gold strap and gold face surrounded by diamonds.
The spokesman added: “Anyone who believes they may have been offered one of these items for sale or has any other information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J3/18/41.”
