Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has said that during the talks on the Cyprus problem in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, Turkey`s demands were put before him and he did not accept them.

Speaking during an event on Tuesday evening, Anastasiades noted that “it is well known that recently we did our utmost in Switzerland with a view to achieve a settlement that would at last allow us to feel free and enjoy free movement throughout our country.”

“Some people told me that the settlement was put on my plate in Crans-Montana,” he said, noting that he wants the Greek Cypriots to know that what was put before him was a menu of Turkey`s demands.
