Officers from the Central North Command Unit are appealing for the public’s help in finding a vulnerable woman missing from hospital.

The woman, who is unidentified after giving a false name of Tina Jones, was last seen at around 13:00hrs on Sunday, 21 May when she walked out of the Whittington Hospital, with a cannula still in her foot.

Officers and medical staff are concerned for her health and wellbeing as the woman has a number of medical issues requiring treatment.

Enquiries to identify and trace the woman so far have been unsuccessful and officers are hoping anyone who recognises the woman from the CCTV image released can help in identifying or finding her.

DC Tom Boon, from the Central North Missing Persons Unit, said: “Our priority with this woman is ensuring that she is safe and well and receiving the medical treatment she needs. I am appealing to her to contact us and let us know she is okay.

“I am also appealing to anyone who recognises the woman in the CCTV image released to contact us and help us find her.”

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Central North Missing Persons Unit at Holborn police station on 020 8733 6543, or contact police via 101, or by tweeting @MetCC
