Head coach for the Edmonton Eagles Amateur Boxing Club, Dr Costakis Evangelou continues to be an inspiration especially to the young people of his club by running the London Marathon. This is the third time that he has completed this course and despite his preparation being affected by his busy schedule which included travelling abroad for charitable and humanitarian work, he was still able to finish in a commendable time of 6 hours.

Dr Evangelou was running for the homeless charity, Shelter and raised approximately £5000. This is a charity close to his heart as he is the Overseer of a local charity that provides food, clothing and support for the homeless and vulnerable.
