We are appealing for information after an assault against two children on a train in London.

 

The incident happened between 5.53pm and 6.34pm on Thursday 13 April on a South West train from Whitton to Waterloo.

 

Two children, a girl aged approximately seven years old and a boy aged approximately five years old, were assaulted by a woman who was travelling with them.

 

The girl was allegedly choked and hit and the boy was allegedly hit in the chest.

 

The offender is a white woman with blonde hair of medium build and she was wearing a denim jacket.

 

Another passenger on board the service reported the incident to the police and officers are looking to trace the people involved and any other witnesses.

 

Investigating officer, PC Barbara Wojciechowska, said: “I’m sure most people will be alarmed to hear about this alleged assault against two young children. We are working to establish the circumstances of the incident and it is vital that we trace the children involved so that we can check they are ok, and identify the woman who was with them. If anyone saw the incident take place or has any information which could help with the investigation, I would like to hear from them as soon as possible.”
