A male has been charged with the murder of a man in Enfield.

The 17-year-old male [A] from Tottenham was charged with the murder of Damien McLaughlin,(photo above) possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class B drug (cannabis). He will appear in custody at Highbury Youth Court on Tuesday, 25 April.

An 18-year-old man [B] remains in custody at an east London police station.

Damien McLaughlin, 42 (06.10.74) of Cheshunt, died after being stabbed in Exeter Road, Enfield on Saturday, 22 April.

An investigation remains ongoing led by Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
