James Anthony Whitlock, 31, was arrested at an address in Shepherds Lane, E9 at approximately 16:30hrs on Sunday, 13 November, for being unlawfully at large.

A 48-year-old man [D] and a 19-year-old man [E] were also arrested at the address on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three have been taken to a north London police station, where they remain in custody.

+ A second prisoner who also escaped was arrested at an address in Ilford on the night of Wednesday, 9 November. He was taken to a north London police station, but was later taken to hospital for treatment to a leg injury. He remains in hospital.

Three other people have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A 21-year-old woman [A] was arrested on 9 November. She has been charged with assisting an offender.

A 33-year-old man [B] was arrested on 9 November. He has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in December.

A 24-year-old woman [C] was arrested on 10 November. She has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in December.
