Omonia Youth FC introduce girls squad
It is with great pleasure and delight that Omonia Youth FC introduce the newest addition to their football family – a girls only team.
Having started as an idea at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, the need for a girls only provision gathered momentum and with more and more parents committed to supporting the venture, it was an easy decision to provide a platform and an opportunity for the girls of the community to train and learn about beautiful game.
Coach George Pantelides enthusiastically agreed to take on the responsibility of training the girls, with the first training session taking place last week. The girls wholeheartedly embraced the session and enjoyed the training.
