Arachne 0 Livadia 6

Livadia FC kept up their recent form with a rampant 6-0 win over Arachne FC. Samir Aalit opened the scoring for Livadia with a finish from close range after 15 minutes. Peter Panayiotou then doubled the lead with his first goal for the club since signing 2 years ago with a shot that found the top corner. Samir Aalit got his second and made it 3-0, making it 3 goals in his last two games. Livadia were then awarded a penalty which Luke Prokopiou dispatched into the bottom corner to end the first half 4-0. The second half was played in similar fashion, Luke Prokopiou got his second of the game with a neat finish from inside the box, 5-0. The goal of the game came last when Dan Pugh chipped the keeper from outside the box and the ball clipped the underside of the bar before finding the net. 6-0 it finished and a fair result it was, Leo Agathangelou dominated the game for Livadia and Arachne couldn’t control him.

Second Division

Komi Kebir 0 Asha 1
What a classic game between second placed Komi Kebir and third placed Asha in an all out action match with both teams keepers Aris Hajikkou and Anthony Ioannou both kept busy and both man of the match.
Both teams fought hard with Asha more dangerous in attack but it took a penalty to break the deadlock.
When Ellis Remy scored from the spot Komi Kebir were later awarded a penalty when Luis Hanna was pulled but Theo Vasilliou’s spot kick was saved by the Asha keeper Anthony Ioannou.
But Komi Kebir kept on coming back and in the dying minutes they missed a glorious chance to score but Andreas Bryant Edwards from ten yards out blasted it over the bar.
A good win for massive improved Asha who i believe will get better and Komi Kebir will need become more clinical in front of goal.

Achna 0 Apoel 2

Its no slowing down for Apoel as they continue with a good winning run which keeps them top as a result of Komi Kebir losing.

Both teams started the game very strong but it was Apoel who managed to score early with the 1st goal on the 8th min with Vincent Lwanga but it was no easy task and Achna were giving it all even although they went behind early on.

Apoel continued to play good football creating many good chances. So half time it finished Achna 0 – Apoel 1. The second half saw Achna off to a good start and put pressure on the Apoel rearguard but the defenders held out. Apoel came back with a late charge and scored in the 87th with Kyri Georgiou.
