An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission will be visiting Cyprus as of Wednesday to conduct comprehensive tax diagnostics, IMF Representative in Cyprus Vincenzo Guzzo has told the Cyprus News Agency.

“In the context of the technical assistance on the economic and financial aspects of a potential settlement of the Cyprus problem, an IMF mission will visit Cyprus during November 9-25” Guzzo said replying to a CNA question.

“The mission has been asked to conduct comprehensive tax diagnostics and work on integrating the tax systems in a post-settlement Cyprus,” he noted.
