Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci have decided to continue their negotiations on the territory issue on November 20, in Geneva.

 

According to CNA sources, the two leaders, who had on November 7-11 talks in Mont Pelerin on the territory issue and outstanding issues interdependently, decided to adjourn the negotiations for one week and continue their discussions on the territory issue in Geneva on November 20.

 

Anastasiades and Akinci have been involved in UN-led peace talks since May last year, with a view to reuniting Cyprus, divided since the 1974 Turkish invasion.
