Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism announced the competent steering committee completed the evaluation of the proposal of the sole participant in the licensing procedure for the Republic of Cyprus’ Integrated Casino Resort.

A press release issued by the Ministry notes that the Committee has decided that the submitted proposal by the consortium «Melco – Hard Rock Resorts Cyprus», composed of by Melco International Development Ltd, Seminole HR Holdings LLC (Hard Rock) και CNS Group (the Cyprus Phassouri (Zakaki) Limited) fulfils the tender`s requirements.

Therefore the the Committee has invited the consortium to submit its relative licensing application on which the due diligence will be undertaken as provided for by the tender documents and law.

The license will be issued subject to the successful completion of the due diligence, the Ministry adds.
