Officers investigating an incident where a woman motorist was verbally abused are appealing for the victim to come forward.

At around 2.10pm on Monday, October 31 in Borehamwood Retail Park, a man in a silver Honda was reportedly seen shouting at a woman motorist during an altercation about a parking space within the Halfords car park.

A witness intervened as the woman was visibly distressed and very shaken. The victim then drove off to avoid any further confrontation. She is described as aged in her 20s and was wearing ‘full Muslim dress’.

PC Rich Moore, from the Borehamwood Intervention Team, said: “I am appealing for the lady who was the victim of the verbal abuse to come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone else who witnessed the incident as this took place in a busy retail park at a time when there would have been many shoppers around.”

PC Moore can be contacted by calling Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J1/16/4063.
