Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted before the Chelsea versus Tottenham match on Saturday, 26 November.

At around 17:15hrs, the victim – aged in his 30s – was punched on the side of the head while entering the ground at Fulham Road, SW6 near to the Britannia Gate.

The man fell to the ground, and was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury. He has since been discharged from hospital.

Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham are investigating.

There has been no arrest.
